The Industrial Technology and Sustainability Unit (UTIS) is the division of ANIMEE that provides technical, regulatory, and strategic support on technology and sustainability issues, ensuring that member companies have the information and support they need to operate within a clear, competitive legislative framework that is aligned with European best practices.
The Industrial Technology and Sustainability Unit (UTIS) is the division of ANIMEE that provides technical, regulatory, and strategic support on technology and sustainability issues, ensuring that member companies have the information and support they need to operate within a clear, competitive legislative framework that is aligned with European best practices.
UTIS work is based on an active presence in the European ecosystem, through its participation in the associations CECAPI, CEMEP, and T&D Europe, as well as through close cooperation and a regular exchange of experiences with national organizations, namely CIP, IEP, and CINEL, and on collaboration with various national public entities. This coordination strengthens the ability to monitor trends, share technical knowledge, and promote coordinated positions relevant to the sector.
Among its main activities are the preparation of technical opinions, collaboration in working groups that analyze and provide input on ongoing legislative changes, continuous monitoring of national and European legislation, and defense of the sector’s strategic interests.
