European Representation
It is at T&D Europe – the European Association of the Electricity Transmission and Distribution Equipment and Services Industry – that ANIMEE, together with other similar European associations, participates in regular working meetings to discuss key legislative changes, share information, and advocate for the interests of the companies it represents, in an effort to reach a consensus that benefits the European subsector in its dealings with third parties.
Through its membership in CEMEP – the European Association of Manufacturers of Electrical and Electronic Power Machinery – ANIMEE represents the interests of the industrial machinery, equipment, and apparatus subsector.
ANIMEE is a member of CECAPI – the European Association of Manufacturers of Electrical Installation Equipment – where it broadly represents the interests of the light installation equipment subsector.
MSSI Electrical (Market Surveillance Support Initiative) is a European initiative promoted by CECAPI that brings together manufacturers, industry associations, and certification bodies to support market surveillance of electrical equipment. Its goal is to eliminate unsafe or non-compliant electrical products circulating in Europe. ANIMEE is one of the national associations participating in the initiative.
